One subscription per organization, billed through Stripe — monthly or annually. Annual billing works out to two months free: Starter $24/mo, Professional $65/mo, Business $165/mo, billed as a single annual payment. You manage everything (plan changes, payment method, invoices, cancellation) from your billing settings via the Stripe customer portal.
Nothing scary, and nothing billed. There is no metered overage and no automatic plan change — if you reach your monthly transaction quota, entity cap, or another limit, the app shows an upgrade prompt and the action waits until you upgrade or the quota resets. Daily AI-call allowances reset every day at 00:00 UTC; monthly quotas reset each month. Your card is only ever charged your plan price.
Because the alternative is invisible throttling, and we'd rather you know the number. Every plan includes a generous daily allowance of AI operations (300 on Starter, 1,000 on Professional, 5,000 on Business) that resets at 00:00 UTC. Most books never come close — but if you ever do hit it, you'll know exactly why, and it will never generate a surprise charge.

This is the big structural difference from QuickBooks Online, where each company file is a separate paid subscription.
